ROYAL MINT COIN DESIGNS

4 BRIDGE ONE POUND COINS: LINOCUTS

The Bridge series of United Kingdom one pound coins were minted between 2004 and 2006. All the preliminary work as well as the final designs were executed in linocut, which enabled many collaged versions and trials of the bridges and their borders. Edwina printed a small edition of the linocuts, shown below, on her Albion press: a few prints are still available.
